New Product Development Engineer

Job Summary:

As a New Product Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and analyzing mechanical structures for various applications. You will leverage your expertise in mechanical engineering principles and practices to create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks, and perform structural analysis using finite element analysis (FEA) software such as ANSYS or Abaqus.

Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and analyze mechanical structures, including static and dynamic loading scenarios, for a variety of applications.
  • Create 3D models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Perform structural analysis using finite element analysis (FEA) software.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and project management, to ensure successful project delivery, and smooth transition of new products into manufacturing
  • Lead and participate in root cause analysis and corrective action activities to address product and process issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.
  • Develop and implement testing and validation protocols to ensure product performance and quality
  • Develop and maintain product documentation and specifications
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and identify opportunities for process and product improvement.

Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on designing and analyzing mechanical structures.
  • Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks).
  • Experience with FEA software, such as ANSYS or Abaqus.
  • English B2 or higher.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
