Senior Manager, Commercial Finance
Job Summary:
Senior Manager Commercial Finance (CFM) will drive margin analysis, contract value, market investments and corporate development initiatives with the regional GM and support teams. The CFM will drive the inputs and key indicators in financial planning and reporting of our forecasts and performance to plan for our EMEA operations. Additionally, this role will support the overall financial planning systems and process integration, partnering with our global sites with a focus on automation and analytics.
A successful candidate will bring the ability to work across global teams to align key planning inputs, financial metrics and KPIs to streamline budget and actual reporting. This position is responsible for driving weekly, monthly and quarterly real time financial analysis to regional and global executive team to drive actionable insights, optimizing business performance to reach financial and non-financial goals.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with commercial and operations team to optimize revenue and profitability of region
- Deliver robust analytics to executive level audience on financial forecasts and performance to plan
- With the regional GM, prospect, value and structure transactions and partnerships to increase market share and earnings growth
- Develop financial models and analytics to support annual strategic planning processes
- Partner with department leaders to develop bottoms up budgets
- Develop three-statement financial models with ability to connect KPIs to actionable drivers to optimize business performance and partnering with corporate team for consolidation of forecasts
- Develop and implement planning processes to streamline planning and budgeting processes across operations and sales organizations
- Leverage planning tools and reporting systems to streamline budget vs actual reporting to drive disciplined performance to plan
- Work closely with accounting in providing support of close analytics and variance analysis
- Develop team members to increase organizational capabilities and business continuity
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Finance, accounting or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience or relevant work experience
- Advanced three statement financial modeling
- Budgeting and forecasting experience
- Familiarity with US GAAP accounting principals
- Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, and BI proficiency
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA, CFA, CPA or other relevant post graduate experience
- Experience with SAP, Adaptive Insights, PowerBI and Sales Force
- Experience in Finance related to manufacturing, logistics, or production environments
- International and public company experience
