Job Description
Link Solutions is seeking a Network Support Technician to join our team at Fort Stewart, GA.
- Must be a US Citizen
- DoD Secret Clearance required
- Non-remote (relocation incentive available)
The Network Support Technician will be responsible for supporting the US Army’s Southeastern Regional Network Enterprise Center at Fort Stewart, GA. This role involves managing and maintaining computer networks to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Government information assets. Additionally, the Technician will help protect national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement and growth.
Responsibilities:
- Provide Tier II-III network/desktop support.
- Provide troubleshooting for network issues, including connectivity problems, hardware failures, and software issues.
- Assist users with network-related problems, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Perform routine maintenance on network hardware such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
- Update firmware, apply patches, and handle basic configuration tasks under supervision
- Monitor network performance using various tools to ensure optimal operation.
- Report anomalies, incidents, or potential issues to the Network Administrator or higher-level staff.
- Assist with setting up and configuring user devices for network access, including workstations, printers, and mobile devices.
- Provide support for VPN access, remote connections, and other end-user network services
- Maintain logs of support activities, including trouble tickets and resolution steps.
- Assist in developing, implementing, testing, and maintaining disaster recovery plans.
- Support the development and delivery of training sessions to ensure staff understand network resources.

Qualifications
- US Citizen
- DoD Secret Clearance
- IAT Level II Certification required (CompTIA Security+ CE, CCNA Security Training, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, equivalent or higher).
- Four (4+) years of relevant experience with a comprehensive understanding of IT network infrastructures.
- Experience with Juniper, Cisco, and Aruba networking equipment.
Preferred:
- BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related IT field.
- Microsoft or related certification.
- Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Accurate and precise attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
