Role Summary
Provide onsite Network and Infrastructure Smart Hands support for Client's Bangalore office. Act as the local extension of Global Network, Security, Cloud, and Infrastructure teams by performing physical troubleshooting, diagnostics, hardware support, cabling validation, rack activities, and coordinated incident response.
Key Responsibilities
Network Support
- Perform Layer 1 and basic Layer 2 troubleshooting.
- Troubleshoot wired and wireless connectivity issues.
- Verify switch port status and VLAN assignments.
- Support Cisco switching and wireless infrastructure.
- Coordinate with global network teams for incident resolution.
- Assist during network maintenance and outages.
Smart Hands Support
- Rack and stack network equipment.
- Patch panel and cabling verification.
- Device installation and replacement.
- Escort vendors and OEM engineers.
- Perform hardware swaps under remote guidance.
Infrastructure Support
- Assist with server and appliance installations.
- Support UPS and infrastructure room checks.
- Coordinate infrastructure hardware replacements.
- Support IDF/MDF maintenance activities.
- Assist with office expansion and relocation projects.
Security & Access Coordination
- Assist with Palo Alto and Zscaler troubleshooting.
- Coordinate Okta and Active Directory-related investigations.
- Support endpoint compliance validation.
- Maintain security and access documentation.
Incident & Change Support
- Participate in P1/P2 incident bridges.
- Provide onsite diagnostics during critical outages.
- Execute approved change activities.
- Update ServiceNow tickets and change records.
