Job Summary:
Provides architect support for all network infrastructure systems within the enterprise across various network infrastructure hardware and software components. Serves as technical implementer for the deployment and support of network infrastructure, Works with Systems Engineers, Applications teams, and other departments to provide a stable and scalable network infrastructure. Responsible for technical hardware/software/cabling, bandwidth requirements, configuration planning, administration, and support of data and communications network, including facilities planning. Provide Tier 4 support and guidance within the department and affiliate entities. Document work in the form of policies, procedures, standards, and knowledge base articles. This position consists of ensuring solutions are delivered in adherence to defined standards and policy. The Network Architect position is expected to lead technical projects as well as provide guidance to team members as needed to ensure quality and delivery of work. This position is expected to work both independently and with various teams across the enterprise.
Minimum Education Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in the field of computer science, telecommunications, information sciences and 3 years of related experience OR 6 years of related experience
Experience:
-
7+ years of experience in Network Engineering

Expert knowledge of Cisco Nexus network infrastructure
-
Expert knowledge of Cisco Catalyst network infrastructure
-
Expert knowledge of Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance (ASA), ISE experience a plus
-
Expert knowledge of Cisco Aggregation Services Routers (ASR)
-
Expert knowledge of Cisco Enterprise Wireless design and management
-
Expert knowledge of WAN technologies
-
Strong knowledge Palo Alto Firewall technologies
-
Working knowledge Cisco UCS infrastructure components
-
Working knowledge Citrix NetScaler technologies
-
Working knowledge of enterprise-class Infrastructure environments
-
Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.

Ability to author technical documents and create procedure manuals
-
Strong interpersonal skills, oral communication skills, and proven analytical and problem-solving abilities

Strong understanding of the organization’s goals and objectives

Ability to conduct research into current and future technologies

Healthcare knowledge/background including data privacy practices and laws

On-call availability 7/24 as part of a rotation schedule

Licensure/Certification:
-
Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) preferred.

CCNA and CCNP certification is required within 180 days of employment.

An equivalent or higher-level network certification as determined by the Manager may be substituted for the CCNA and CCNP.
