POSITION SUMMARY: The Account Executive is responsible for bringing in new business and maintaining existing accounts. They will build, maintain, and support a network of towing and roadside service providers to ensure network stability and growth through outreach, account maintenance and promoting adherence and compliance to the established contract.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:  

  • Generate New Business utilizing provided lead lists and networking
  • Understand and analyze the needs of assigned territories including:
  • Current and forecasted volume and seasonality
  • Provider capacity by territory, coverage, and volume
  • Cost of in network services
  • Cost of out of network services
  • Additional service charges (supplemental to the original purchase orders)
  • Rate of acceptance within a region and/or service providers Estimated time of arrival (ETA) and actual time of arrival (ATA)
  • Build a stable network of reputable service providers through:
  • Actively conducting outreach to towing and roadside service businesses
  • Negotiating service rates based on the needs of the assigned territories
  • Generate service provider applications based on territorial needs
  • Maintain strong business relationships with existing service providers through:
  • Weekly appointments to review service provider performance
  • Account review and maintenance (add or remove services, coverage area, hours, etc.)
  • Renegotiating rates based on the needs of the assigned territories Daily Duties:
  • Respond to all incoming communications within 24 business hours
  • Maintain a full understanding of the service provider contract (application)
  • Ensure adherence and compliance to service provider contract
  • Ensure that assigned territories have a full scope of available services
  • Address service issues caused by the lack of services, service providers or contract adherence
  • Analyze reporting, detailing territory performance on a daily and monthly basis
  • Attend trade shows and network with new and existing service providers

 

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:  

  • College degree preferred
  • B2B Sales, Territory Management, Account Management or Business Development experience Contract negotiation and or price negotiation experience

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS :  

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this position.

  • Proficient computer skills: must have working knowledge of Excel and Word,

  • Ability to identify discrepancies and take initiative to research variances and correct 
  • Understand and operate in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Promote a professional and welcoming environment for internal and external customers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Ability to make a high volume of outbound calls, and take a high volume of incoming calls
  • Understand and operate in accordance with company policies and procedures

 

Hours Required: 40 hours a week, occasional evenings and weekends may be required.        Up to 20% Travel
