Work Arrangement / Work Shift: Remote part-time 2pm-5pm PH time
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced NetSuite Functional Consultant to lead the optimization and automation of our Accounts Receivable (AR) Billing, Project-based Milestone tracking, and Revenue Recognition processes. The primary objective of this project is to decouple conditional and unconditional revenue streams within NetSuite to enable accurate cash flow forecasting. You will be responsible for resolving data classification blockers, redesigning GL account structures, integrating NetSuite Projects with financial modules, and automating a complex manual revenue reversal workflow, utilizing NetSuite SuiteProjects and the Advanced Revenue Management (ARM) module.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Business Process Redesign & GL Restructuring
Design and implement the separation of the current single AR Accrued GL account into distinct, risk-profile-specific accounts:
AR Accrued - Contract Asset (Conditional revenue based on milestones/services).
AR Accrued - Trade Receivable (Unconditional revenue based on supply/delivery).
Deferred Revenue - Contract Asset.
Eliminate the current manual four-step workaround (Accrue → Bill → Manual Recognize → Manual Reverse) that currently causes temporary revenue overstatement.
NetSuite Projects & Revenue Integration
Project-Revenue Integration: Configure the NetSuite Projects module to seamlessly link project milestones, percentages of completion (PoC), and Certificates of Acceptance (COCA) directly to Revenue Arrangements, ensuring conditional revenue is captured accurately at the project level.

Skills Required
- Proven NetSuite functional consulting experience, including configuring SuiteProjects and Advanced Revenue Management (ARM)
- Experience designing and restructuring GL accounts for AR, deferred revenue, and contract assets
- Experience automating revenue recognition workflows and eliminating manual accrue/bill/recognize/reverse processes
- Experience integrating NetSuite Projects with Revenue Arrangements, linking milestones, PoC, and Certificates of Acceptance
- Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable, Billing, Project Accounting, and Revenue Recognition concepts
- Ability to resolve data classification blockers and enable accurate cash flow forecasting
- Available to work remote part-time during 2pm-5pm Philippine Time
