Job Description

Reporting into Lead Software Engineer you will be an important part of the product support team of our Solution Development department and will participate in supporting existing applications.

What you'll do:

  • Provide technical support to our clients daily.
  • Onboard of new clients in Cloud environments and systems.
  • Support and fix existing .NET 8.0 applications and participate in complex incidents resolution related to live production systems.
  • Participation in on-call 24x7 support rotas.
  • Participate in troubleshooting calls with our clients.
  • Enhance existing .NET 8.0 based products and applications following changing business, security and compliance needs.
  • Design and implement cloud-based microservices oriented architecture using REST APIs, MQs and gRPC.
  • Implement accurate and reliable code in time according to deliver functionality.
  • Design and implement unit tests to validate the functionality is implemented correctly.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Around 2 years programming experience in C# and .NET Core
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Good communicational skills and ability to partner with distant clients and business teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal English.
  • An understanding of the concepts and patterns of OOP.
  • Practical experience deploying, debugging and troubleshooting of web applications and APIs in Cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of web standards and technologies - Web Services, REST APIs.
  • Understanding of databases and basic SQL skills.
  • Experience with collaboration tools (e.g. Jira, Bitbucket).
  • Experience with source code repository systems like Git.

Any of the following will be considered as an advantage:

  • Experience working in Agile environment.
  • Experience using ServiceNow.
  • Practical experience with Microservices and RabbitMQ.
  • Practical experience with Cloud-based infrastructure (e.g. AWS, Azure).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Ansible Tower.
  • Experience with AWS / Kubernetes.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with web proxies as Apigee or others.
