Key Responsibilities

Qualifications
- 5–10 years of relevant industrial experience in ultrasonic (UT) nondestructive testing.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Physics, Engineering, Mathematics (with specialization in ultrasound/NDT), or a related field.
- Experience with phased array ultrasonic testing and/or electromagnetic inspection methods (e.g., magnetic flux leakage, eddy current) is preferred.
- Experience in design, development of nondestructive evaluation (NDE) systems, and testing of NDE components and systems.
- Demonstrated ability to perform both analytical and experimental research.
- Working knowledge of programming languages and tools on PC (Windows or Linux) such as C, C++, C#, Python or JavaScript is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with data acquisition, signal & image processing, electronics, ultrasonic probes, and instrumentation.
- Knowledge of finite element methods for ultrasound or electromagnetism
- Knowledge of computer vision or vision-language model for NDT or automation
- Knowledge of industry standards such as API, ASTM.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with practical problem-solving methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Self-motivated, innovative, and capable of conducting independent research in a multidisciplinary environment.
