Company Description

The National Consumer Collecting Specialist is responsible for leading the Student Marketeer program nationally, which aims to grow our user base and strengthen brand love among our target group. The Consumer Collecting Specialist recruits, leads & retains a casual workforce of energetic and passionate brand ambassadors. This includes coaching our Student Marketeers out in the field on how to ensure quality consumer & customer interactions. They are responsible for managing large national projects from start to finish, integration of impactful sales support programs, working cross functionally on new ways to excite our consumers and most importantly are well connected to changing generational trends and maintaining & growing our presence on university campus. 

Job Description

Lead Exceptional Execution of the Student Marketing Program 

  • Guide and support Student Marketeers to drive Red Bull trial, increase brand awareness, foster a positive product and brand perceptions with consumers.
  • Provide clear expectations, resources, and guidelines to Student Marketeers for achieving best practice. 
  • Develop and implement an innovative program of exciting brand activity such as events, hacks & campaigns relevant to students.
  • Create & deliver a robust plan to drive physical availability on and around campuses.

Lead Exceptional Execution of the University Program 

  • Guiding and supporting Field Marketing & Student Marketeers to drive Red Bull trial, increase brand awareness and foster a positive product and brand perception within their respective universities. 
  • Support in driving mental & physical availability on and around university campuses by working with sales teams to provide coaching and training to Field Marketing teams and Student Marketeers.   
  • Responsible for working with sales on national tender pitches and maintaining strong relationships with key account groups and partners which are university related. 

Marketing Innovation 

  • Develop and deliver an innovative and relevant business plan which complements the marketing priorities of the country, while considering the opportunities & needs of university students and the local region or city/cell. 
  • Ensure all new ideas and projects have a strong and engaging digital & social media backbone to be relevant to university students who are driving the digital landscape & look for brands who are innovating in this space. 
  • Invite & empower Student Marketeers to come up with innovative ideas for all internal programs (culture, sports, field etc.) and create a “test & learn” environment the right framework & feedback loop. 

Strategic Development of Programs

  • Regularly assess and analyse the programs, identifying opportunities to improve processes and excite consumers and students. 
  • Work on plans that will sustain or increase % of awareness and brand image amongst students as well as improve student coverage & people reached on university campuses managed by Red Bull University. 
  • Increase the usage of Red Bull Energy Drink in the Study occasion through T&A study.
  • Improve the targeting of sampling new & infrequent users through the Sampling program by reviewing data and insights on a regular basis and the mission planning process.

People Development & Leadership 

  • Implement and uphold the Intl. recruitment, on-boarding and training modules for global consistency, working closely with HR for local compliance.
  • Look how to improve effectiveness of recruitment campaigns by identifying new digital spaces & social media initiatives to attract the best candidates.
  • Work closely with the Head of Field & Field Marketing Managers on team on-boarding & training to leadership roles of SMs. 
  • Support, train and motivate to optimize the potential of achieving high performing individuals and teams.

General Program Management

  • Responsible for secure, smart and efficient budget management of both sampling & university programs, whilst finding ways to optimize expenditure.
  • Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and efficient budget management with a national view and coach regional teams on effective budgeting principles. 
  • Work closely with the operations team to manage branded fleet & ensure adequate efficiencies with the state teams. 
  • Lead & encourage great reporting and manager coaching within Red Bull University as well as maintain your own top-notch community management. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in leading events & marketing activities.
  • Experience in managing people and teams. 
  • Experience in managing budgets.
  • Preferably has been a part of and was a stand-out Student Marketeer.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication & presentation skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Coaching and training individuals and teams.
  • An entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude facilitated by continuous learning and application of appropriate ‘best practices’.
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from data & consumer insights.
  • Event & Project Management skills.
  • Natural role model and ability to command a room.
