  • Salesforce for Government sells to Federal Civilian Agencies, State & Local Agencies, DoD and Government Contractors.

    As a Named Account Executive at Salesforce, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and success of our business within federal civilian agencies. You will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive adoption, retention, and growth within your assigned accounts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales and account management, with a deep understanding of the unique challenges and opportunities within federal civilian agencies, specifically DOJ/FBI.

    Your Impact:

    You will work closely with your customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals. You will guide customers on the Salesforce Platform to promote solutions that will help them reach their business goals and blaze new trails within their organizations.

    You will supply our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our Ohana.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders within federal civilian agencies, including leaders, administrators, and IT professionals.

    • Understand the unique needs and challenges of federal civilian agencies and develop tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

    • Drive adoption and usage of Salesforce products and services within your accounts.

    • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure the success of your accounts.

    • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.

    • Track and report on key account metrics, including sales pipeline, revenue forecasts, and customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

    • 8+ years of experience in sales, account management, or business development, preferably within the technology sector. Enterprise SaaS is preferred.

    • Experience working with federal civilian agencies or within the public sector is highly desirable, specifically Federal Civilian experience, including DOJ/FBI

    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.

    • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to a variety of audiences.

    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

For Washington D.C based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $172,850 to $231,200.

For Maryland based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $157,150 to $210,200.
