Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Murex Domain Integration Specialist to join our team and support integration across multiple domains within the Murex platform. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Murex, combined with a solid understanding of capital markets and system integration processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations within the Murex platform (MX.3) and external applications
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to gather and analyze integration requirements
- Configure and implement Murex interfaces across front-to-back domains (e.g. FO, BO, risk, accounting)
- Work on data flows, trade lifecycle events, and system connectivity
- Support and enhance existing Murex environments, including troubleshooting and performance optimization
- Ensure data consistency and integrity across integrated systems
- Participate in system upgrades, testing, and release management
- Provide technical support and documentation for integration solutions
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Murex (MX.3), particularly in integration setup
- Solid understanding of capital markets products (e.g. derivatives, FX, rates, equities)
- Experience with business object workflows and exchange interfaces
- Knowledge of integration technologies (APIs, messaging, batch processing, mainframe technologies)
- Experience with XSLT, SQL, Unix/Linux
- Familiarity with trade lifecycle
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Murex upgrades or migrations
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Previous experience in investment banking or financial services environments
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach
