- Update and realign existing print and digital publications, including brochures, reports, newsletters, posters, and advertisements, to adhere to the new brand guidelines. Longer-term the designer will also work on briefs for new assets from around the globe.
- Ensure all updated materials are consistent with QBE’s new brand guidelines
- Prepare and finalise files for print and digital distribution
- Maintain and organise digital assets and project files
- Assist with the development and implementation of updated templates for recurring publications eg MS Word, PowerPoint
- Review final layouts for accuracy and quality
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in desktop publishing and graphic design.
Requirements
1. Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design.
2. Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator).
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint) with skills in template creation and editing.
- Understanding of prepress and print production processes.
- Advanced knowledge of digital publishing formats (interactive PDFs, e-books, or web graphics).
- Strong understanding of design principles, including typography, layout, and colour theory.
