Multimedia Designer (Video, Animation & Digital Design)
Job Purpose
The Multimedia Designer is the creative lead for video, animation, and digital content production, while also supporting the design of marketing collateral and website visuals. This role brings the brand to life through engaging video, motion graphics, and event materials, ensuring creativity and consistency across all campaigns, events, and digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Video, Motion Graphics & Animation
- Produce high-quality video content for campaigns, events, and digital platforms.
- Create animations and motion graphics for social media, websites, and presentations.
- Manage video projects end-to-end: storyboarding, filming, editing, and post-production.
- Capture and edit event coverage, interviews, and promotional videos.
Digital & Website Design
- Design visuals for websites, landing pages, and other digital touchpoints.
- Support the Marketing and Digital Marketing Officers in developing creative assets for online campaigns.
- Ensure all digital designs are visually engaging and aligned with brand guidelines.
Graphic Design & Event Collateral
- Produce marketing materials including brochures, presentations, banners, and branded assets.
- Create event visuals such as signage, invitations, programmes, and promotional materials.
- Work closely with the Marketing Officer to ensure event collateral aligns with campaign objectives.
Brand & Creative Development
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines across all design work.
- Research new trends in video, animation, and digital design to keep outputs innovative.
- Ensure brand consistency across all creative materials.
Collaboration
- Partner with the Marketing Officer on event design requirements.
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Officer to provide digital campaign assets.
- Contribute to creative brainstorming and campaign planning sessions.
Skills & Experience
Required
- Proven expertise in video editing, motion graphics, and animation (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar).
- Strong design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and digital design tools.
- Experience producing visuals for websites, landing pages, and digital platforms.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Desirable
- Experience in 3D animation or advanced motion graphics.
- Knowledge of photography and live event filming.
- Previous experience in a multimedia, marketing, or creative design role.
