Lyra Technology Group is seeking a MSP Project Engineer for one of their operating companies. As a MSP Project Engineer at UIS, you will interface with clients, internal service, and project departments. The job will include but is not limited to installation, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of systems/servers and network services.

Your work as a MSP Project Engineer will includes several components:
• Architect and Install servers/systems, routers, firewalls, and other equipment for clients.
• Design/Implement/Support network and server (on-premise and cloud-based) infrastructure
• Architect cloud infrastructure and migration planning
• Respond to service requests and repair the malfunctioning equipment/software promptly.
• Create/improve Technical Service Group standards and implementation methods.
• File timely technical reports and create updated technical documentation.
• Driving to client locations may be required.
• Ability to work out timelines and build implementation schedules.
• Manage multiple levels of resources during the project.
• Coordinate resource allocation with product availability and deliveries
• Manage Client expectations.
• Ability to identify out-of-scope items and work with the Project Manager to create change orders.
Our ideal MSP Project Engineer has the following qualifications:
• Superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Previous Managed Service Provider (MSP) experience
• Must be a fast learner with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills
• 3-5 Years of Network experience, MSP experience helpful
• Experience with Windows Servers, Windows 10, Microsoft Azure, AWS, SQL, Active Directory, Microsoft 365
• Familiarity and proficiency with Cisco, SonicWall, Dell, EMC, VMWare
• Proficiency with switches, firewalls, IP routing, network security, VOIP
• Proficiency with virtualization
• Knowledge of RMM solutions
• Advanced knowledge of computer networking
• Advanced knowledge of PC hardware
• Advanced knowledge of Windows operating system and utilities
