Role :
This is an opportunity for an established BI Technical Consultant to work in a rapidly expanding and innovative consultancy, who are a Tier 1 Microsoft Gold Partner. 

As a MSBI Developer you will be responsible for the commercial delivery of cutting edge Business Intelligence solutions, leveraging modern Business Intelligence technology to bring significant commercial advantage to our clients.

In this role, the successful candidate will be working with one of the industry’s foremost BI strategy and technology teams, including working closely with Microsoft to implement cutting edge projects using SQL Server 2012, 2014, 2019 and PowerBI

Responsibilities:

• Working as a technical consultant to design, development and delivery of enterprise BI solutions based primarily on the Microsoft Business Intelligence technology stack.
• To develop and deliver end-to-end MS BI solutions on customer data either as part of an overall team or working under your own supervision
• To apply logical common sense and pragmatism in order to understand and address business requirements with appropriate technology choices
• To assist the sales team on occasional pre-sales opportunities

• Significant experience and technical architecture skills across the Microsoft BI (MSBI) application stack (Pref. 2012 onwards) including SSIS, SSAS, SSRS.
• Demonstrable understanding of enterprise BI and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience in technical skills for developing Integration packages using SQL Server 2012, SQL Server Integration Services, SQL Server Analysis Services (OLAP) including MDX
• Thorough understanding of dimensional modelling
• Business facing skills and a proven consultative approach.
• Strong business analysis skills and experience of delivering discovery sessions at CxO level.
• Experience building solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.
