As an Analytical Associate in our GCB Data & Analytics Team, you will spend each day developing impactful data visualizations, intelligence solutions, and strategic analytics that inform decision-making across the organization. You will leverage advanced analytics tools to streamline processes, strengthen controls, and drive the migration to modern cloud-based platforms. Your ability to interpret and synthesize complex data will help identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, while supporting ad hoc stakeholder requests and advancing the firm's analytical capabilities.
Job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end analytics initiatives, leveraging expertise in Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics to deliver actionable business insights, performance, and sales analytics for senior management and Finance & Business Management (F&BM) teams.
- Design, implement, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and executive dashboards to support strategic decision-making.
- Oversee the development and deployment of advanced data visualizations using industry-leading tools such as Sigma, Tableau, Qlik, and ThoughtSpot.
- Apply advanced programming skills in Python and SQL to manage, optimize, and automate large-scale data processes and queries.
- Utilize hands-on experience with AI/ML techniques and implement large language model (LLM) use cases for data-driven insights and automation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technology stakeholders to define requirements and deliver impactful, scalable analytics solutions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing.
- Communicate complex analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, representing the analytics function in cross-functional forums.
- Champion the adoption of cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake), driving innovation and best practices in analytics technology.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships, influencing business strategy through data-driven recommendations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing data visualizations and executive presentations, with deep expertise in Tableau or similar platforms.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML techniques and practical implementation of large language model (LLM) use cases for data-driven insights and automation.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with data wrangling and business intelligence tools such as Alteryx.
- Proven track record in optimizing relational databases, developing reports, and conducting ad-hoc analyses on large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret unstructured data, extract business insights, and identify strategic opportunities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with cloud data warehouses (AWS, Databricks, Snowflake) and familiarity with AI/ML models and automation tools (e.g., UI Path).
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and adaptable to new technologies and evolving business needs.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 8+ years of experience in analytics or data science, ideally within the financial services sector.
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., MIS, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, Finance); advanced degree preferred.
- Formal training or certification in Data Science, Statistics, or Business Analytics.
- Experience with ThoughtSpot or similar self-service analytics platforms.
- Demonstrated leadership in driving analytics transformation and technology adoption.
