Ericsson is seeking a highly skilled MS Core Cloud Specialist - Fixed Voice to join our team in Sydney, NSW. This senior role requires deep expertise in Ribbon and GENBAND voice switching platforms to support and evolve Fixed Voice network infrastructure across Australian Data Centers.
What you will do• Operate and maintain Ribbon/GENBAND Fixed Voice nodes (DMS100, CS2000/CS2K, C20 and sub-elements) across Sydney-based and national Data Centers• Perform fault management, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis for voice platform outages• Execute software upgrades, patch management, and planned maintenance on GENBAND/Ribbon platforms• Configure and manage C20 elements: GWC, CCA, USP/SP2K, AMS, MAS, NGSS/SST, SSL/SESM/A2, CS-LAN, CBM, CMT/IEMT, IEMS, RTP MP EM, PMDM, MG3.5K, MG15K, NDM, TNSI• Monitor network KPIs using Grafana and Kalix; resolve degradations proactively• Manage SBC provisioning, SIP trunking, and policy rules via Ribbon NMS• Develop and review MOPs for change management and maintenance windows• Collaborate with IMS, PS CORE, and NOC teams on cross-domain incidents• Provide Level 3 support and escalation management with Ribbon/GENBAND vendor TAC• Maintain accurate network documentation and knowledge-base articles

Education and experience• Education: Bachelor's in Telecom, Electronics, Computer Science or equivalent• Experience: 15+ years Wireline/Fixed Voice - hands-on experience on Ribbon or GENBAND platforms
Mandatory technical skills• Deep expertise in DMS100, CS2000 (CS2K), and C20 platform elements• Strong operational knowledge of Ribbon/GENBAND Fixed Voice architectures and SBC platforms
