• Develop and implement strategies that aid the goal of reaching the unchurched.
• Develop relationships with outside agencies or programs to provide outreach opportunities for the congregation.
• Organize the annual mission calendar and specific mission events — mission prayer meetings, mission expos, workshops/conferences/seminars, fundraising events for specific projects, guest speakers/preachers, and focused mission weekends/months.
Attraction
• Develop a compelling value proposition that ensures the attraction of the unchurched.
• Develop a comprehensive missions strategy for the church.
• Serve as the missions specialist for the church, offering expertise and guidance to ministries.
• Facilitate mission and volunteer events and training within the church, educating and equipping the congregation to serve in missions locally and beyond, and helping them make adequate preparations.
Others
• Facilitate the active mission involvement of church members.
• Encourage mission involvement by, and in cooperation with, all ministry areas of the church.
• Coordinate and develop the annual missions ministry budget.
• Responsible for recruiting, training, equipping, and developing leaders and volunteers working in the ministry.
• Serve as the missions specialist for the church, offering expertise and guidance to other arms of the ministry.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree recommended.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in sales and marketing, or a similar environment.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and social media platforms.
