Job Description

The Millwright is responsible to provide engineering technical service to a one of the sections of the Operational Area.

Key responsibilities of this role are:

•  Plan execution of work orders 
• Decide and Convey resources requirements
•  Application of work standards
•  Quality of work completed
•  Decisions within allocated schedule of work and safety standards
•  Complete the requisition order and submit
•  Scheduling of tasks for the team in the area
•  Veto on individual resources on their shift in the area
•  Changing tasks and machine settings to minimize the effect of unexpected problems
•  Stop the operation if the working conditions are unsafe
•  Identifying employees suitable for further training
• Disciplining of employees to agreed parameters and procedures

This role is at a C2 role reporting to an Electrical Foreman.

• Grade 10 or Technical Trade Specific N2
•  Trade Certificate for Fitter and Electrician

Experience

• 2 Years Experience in an underground environment

Knowledge And Skills

• Valid driving license code 08
