We are looking for a MID Networking and IoT Engineer to strengthen our ambitious technical support team in Kaunas, Lithuania. You will work with the leading networking solutions in the world and master your skills.


Teltonika’s networking solutions business unit develops and manufactures industrial and enterprise connectivity equipment, primarily routers, switches, gateways, and modems. Our networking devices serve clients in the most complex areas of Industry 4.0, Smart City, and Green Energy.


Teltonika provides an opportunity for every ambitious engineer to improve their skills and be part of the technical support to innovative networking devices.


In this role, you will:

  • Advise customers how to use our products within their solutions, and solve their challenges related to Teltonika Networks products, both in writing and during online meetings, by phone (outbound-only) or directly visit customer on site.
  • Self-sufficiently resolve technical issues arising from customer's configuration, firmware/software, and other sources.
  • Prepare documentation for internal and external use (e.g., Teltonika Wiki).
  • Play the role of a link between a customer and Teltonika Networks RnD regarding complex challenges.
  • Hands-on experience with Linux-based OS, industrial protocols, various networking services and protocols, and occasionally 3rd party peripherals.

  • Ability and desire to help others.
  • Prior experience in customer service.
  • 1+ years experience working in Computer Networking field
  • Advanced knowledge in Computer Networking (TCP/IP, OSI models, Routing, Firewall, VLAN’s and other networking protocols).
  • Great analytical skills, service-oriented and proactive mindset;
  • Good English language skills (advanced user level), and knowledge of other languages are advantages
  • Higher or equivalent technical / engineering education.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to form technical documentation.

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • Knowledge or certification in CCNA or similar courses is an advantage.

Salary

We appreciate everyone's efforts and experiences, so we offer an attractive salary matching your skillset and field expertise. The salary for this position ranges from 16 Eur/h up to 22 Eur/h (~2672 Eur—3674 Eur) pre-tax, depending on your experience and expertise.*

In an employment agreement, we specify and define a fixed (tariff) hourly salary rate before taxes.
