Job DescriptionWe are looking for a hands-on Mgr, Strategic Planning/Analytics Mgmt who, first and foremost, has an absolute passion for data. You are someone who easily sees the big picture but never lets the small details slip through the cracks.
As a leader, you are a team player who excels at collaborating with multiple cross-functional interfaces, but you also know how to take full ownership, drive initiatives, and lead your team to success. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data, product development, and cutting-edge cyber security challenges.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Mentorship: Lead, mentor, and professionally guide a team of talented data analysts, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
Complex Data Analysis: Deliver deep-dive data analysis to drive product decisions, facilitate feature development, and uncover critical security insights.
API & Data Exploration: Research, query, and explore diverse APIs and complex data sources.
Data Integrity: Proactively identify data quality issues and resolve data inconsistencies to ensure high-fidelity insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with R&D, Product Management, and Cyber Research teams to solve large-scale problems.
Requirements
Leadership Experience: 1–2 years of experience leading a team of analysts, OR a proven track record as a Senior Data Analyst ready to step up into their first leadership role.
Data & Programming Skills:
3+ years of experience writing advanced SQL queries.
2+ years of hands-on experience with Python (specifically Pandas, data analysis, data scraping, and API querying).
Cybersecurity & Networking Domain Expertise:
Strong familiarity with networks, networking concepts, and traffic analysis.
Good understanding of security vulnerabilities and cyber threats.
Analytical Mindset: Exceptional analytical skills with a proven ability to extract actionable insights from raw data and conduct open-ended research.
Soft Skills: A strong sense of ownership, a proactive problem-solving attitude, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Language: Full proficiency in English (both written and verbal).
Education: BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent technical field.
