This role sits within the Treasury Financial Control and Advisory – Product Control team where you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of daily and monthly Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting, delivering accurate financial results, insightful analysis and a robust control framework.
How You Succeed
You succeed in this role by building strong partnerships with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams to ensure robust financial governance across the business. In addition, you contribute effectively to the successful rollout of the new Global Markets Securities Finance business.
What you do
Produce daily and monthly Global Markets P&L reporting, including detailed analysis, P&L attribution and reconciliations
Perform ongoing financial controls monitoring, promptly identifying, investigating and mitigating financial or reporting issues
Prepare monthly executive summary reports for senior management, highlighting key performance drivers and providing insightful analysis of business results
Participate in the Global Markets New Product Program, ensuring appropriate product control, accounting, and reporting processes are designed and implemented for new products
Continuously evaluate and strengthen the risk and control framework, driving process enhancements and operational transformation
Support the rollout of the Global Markets - Securities Finance business by contributing to requirements gathering, testing, and implementation, ensuring Product Control and accounting reporting readiness at go-live.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or FRM are advantageous.
Minimally 5 years of relevant experience in Product Control, Financial Control, or Market Finance roles, preferably within Global Markets.
Strong understanding of Global Markets products and well-developed knowledge of financial risk and internal control frameworks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Front Office, Risk, Operations, and senior management.
High level of drive, proactiveness, and adaptability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
