Prepare precise, legally compliant MEP construction drawings from design concepts. Manage 6–8 projects simultaneously, meet tight deadlines, incorporate revisions and redlines, maintain accurate title blocks, scales, annotations, and dimensions, and ensure compliance with American building standards, local ordinances, and state codes. Collaborate daily with leadership, homeowners, builders, and designers while proactively identifying documentation issues.

Key Responsibilities
- Meet and exceed fast deadlines with high-quality drawings
- Communicate daily with leadership on the progress of assigned projects
- Responsible for handling 6-8 projects at a time
- Translate abstract design concepts into precise, legally compliant construction documents
- Maintain pristine title blocks, scale notations, aligned annotations, and consistent dimension strings across all drawing sets
- Ensure drawings comply with American building standards, local ordinances, and state building codes
- Incorporate client and team redlines and revisions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate closely with homeowners, builders, and the design team throughout each project
- Proactively identify and flag potential design or documentation issues before they impact timelines
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proficient in AutoCAD LT and drafting in the imperial system
- Must seamlessly translate abstract design concepts into precise, legally compliant construction documents
- Pristine execution of title blocks, scale notations, aligned annotations, and highly consistent dimension strings
- Strong understanding of American building standards
- Foundational understanding of local ordinances and state building codes
- Proactive, forward-thinking mindset
- Strong English proficiency and communication skills
