Event Planner is responsible for all elements of the end-to-end management of an event, including sourcing, logistics, financial management and delivery.

The person will manage the process from Meeting Qualification call and initial venue proposal to post project financial reconciliation, respecting customer and American Express Meeting & Events standards, procedures and policies.

Apart from pharma Event Planner also may work on a range of client account types and teams including Strategic Meetings Management (SMM) Clients or Ad hoc / Event by Event (EBE)/ MICE Clients.

What You’ll Do:

· End to End National and/ or international project management

· Run own events, including larger complex meetings

· Managing multiple meetings simultaneously

· Supplier management - negotiate and execute supplier deals and contracts

· Manage and develop new and existing client relationships

· Act as a primary liaison between the client, suppliers and internal team

· Operational management of the event database

· Accurate and timely data management

· Logistical coordination of the event

· Budget management – manage large/complex budgets, maintain working versions, process supplier and client invoices, manage cash flow and payment schedules

· Analytical Reasoning – using analysis of today’s meeting data for future event delivery

· Financial and Data Report creation per event, per client

· Policy management

· Additional duties as requested

· Onsite event assistance (if required)

What We’re Looking For:

· Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in event management

· Completed Bachelor’ s degree in tourism or a related economic field

· Native Hungarian and Fluent Business English (C1 – level)

· Additional languages are a benefit to the role

· Driving License -B category (preferred but not mandatory)

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software’s

· Have some experience with CRM systems – data entry, eRFP, reporting, budget

· Advantage: Cvent and Canva knowledge

· Customer care excellence

· High level of attention to detail

· Flexibility and ability to adapt

· Able to work well in a Team

· Used to working under pressure
