Media Relations Specialist

We’re looking for a Media Relations Specialist to strengthen our media presence, build strong

partnerships with industry publications, and ensure wide media coverage for Altenar’s content

and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with media partners and journalists in the iGaming

and sports betting industry.

• Plan and coordinate PR activities - from media collaborations and article placements to

special projects - handling them in-house or with our agency to maximise visibility and

impact.

• Monitor media coverage and mentions, prepare summaries, and coordinate quick

responses to negative or inaccurate publications.

• Manage media partnerships and contracts, including planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Maintain and update the PR database – contacts, activity logs, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with the content and design team to ensure consistent brand tone across all

channels.

• Propose new ideas and opportunities to strengthen Altenar’s media visibility and brand

awareness.

• Increase brand awareness within the iGaming community and contribute to building a

positive company image.

• Analyze PR results and media performance, providing insights and recommendations for

improvement.

• Provide PR support and media coverage for key company activities – expos, product

launches, campaigns, partnerships, and other initiatives.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in PR, communications, or media. Experience in B2B or iGaming is

an advantage.

• A background in a PR agency will be a strong advantage.
• Understanding of the media landscape, including industry media, digital platforms,

influencers, and PR trends.

• Excellent communication and writing skills in English (other languages are a plus)
• Experience working with external agencies and managing multiple stakeholders
• Familiar with PR monitoring tools (e.g. Determ, Meltwater, Cision, Mention or others)
• Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented
