Job Description
Just imagine shaping the global paid media direction behind some of the LEGO Group’s biggest campaigns.
About the role
As our Global Media Planning Senior Manager, Grown-Ups, you’ll help shape the global paid media direction across LEGO® Masterbrand, Adults, Shopper and Pre-School campaigns.
This is an upstream, global role, bringing media expertise into campaign development before local planning begins. You’ll create Global Media Campaign Guidance that gives markets and agencies a clear strategic foundation, identify scalable media and partnership opportunities, and stay connected through adoption, visibility and learning.
This is a senior individual-contributor role, offering the opportunity to help build a growing Global Media Planning capability, influence senior stakeholders and connect expertise from across our media organisation. ·
Required Experience
- Delivered global, regional or multi-market media planning and direction across multiple channels.
- Worked upstream in campaign, brand or annual planning, bringing media expertise into decisions before activation planning begins.
- Translated campaign or brand strategies into clear, actionable media guidance for markets and agencies.
- Influenced senior stakeholders across marketing, creative, media and agency organisations.
- Built new processes, capabilities or ways of working in a complex environment.
- Used investment, activation and performance insights to strengthen media recommendations.
- Identified scalable media, platform or partnership opportunities and helped build stakeholder or market buy-in.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in a global or regional media role involving multiple complex stakeholder groups.
- Experience developing global media guidance, planning frameworks or partnership activations across multiple markets.
What you’ll build
- Earlier and stronger media input into campaign development, briefs and playbooks.
- Global Media Campaign Guidance that markets and agencies can use as a foundation for local planning.
- Scalable media and partnership opportunities with clear routes to market adoption.
- Stronger connections between global media direction and local planning realities.
- Better visibility of campaign sufficiency, activation, adoption and learning.
- A trusted media partnership with Integrated Marketing across the Grown-Ups portfolio.
If you’ve shaped media direction across markets, influenced campaign development or helped build new planning capabilities, you’ll feel at home here. What matters most is your ability to combine strategic media expertise with strong judgement, constructive challenge and stakeholder leadership.
Life on the team
You’ll join Global Media Planning, a collaborative team working closely with Integrated Marketing, creative and campaign teams, Market Group Media Planners, media specialists and agency partners.
We plan alongside our agency partners, bring our own strategic point of view and look for opportunities to create value at a global scale. You’ll bring together the right specialists and partners around each challenge, creating alignment and driving progress through influence rather than formal authority.
What success looks like
Success means becoming the recognised Global Media Planning lead for the Grown-Ups portfolio. You’ll help bring media expertise into campaigns earlier, establish Global Media Campaign Guidance as a valued foundation for local planning, increase the adoption of scalable media and partnership opportunities, and improve visibility and learning across markets.
You’ll help build a function that stays connected beyond guidance deployment, balances global direction with local realities, and is recognised as a trusted media partner across the LEGO Group.
