The incumbent will be responsible for the following
Budget:
- Responsible for Project Mechatronics Budget execution: Execute the Mechatronics budget within the assigned project, ensuring alignment with the overall project budget and Mechatronics Discipline budget guidelines provided by the Mechatronics Engineering Manager of the entity.
Support Operations:
- Responsible for Project Discipline QCD Management: Lead the team responsible for Quality, Cost, and Delivery (QCD) performance of the Mechatronics discipline within the assigned project, adhering to standardized methodologies, Mechatronics project dashboard and KPIs defined by the Group/Division and followed by the Mechatronics Engineering Manager and Discipline Team Leader.
- Responsible for Mechatronics Technical Review execution and corrective action plan within the project.
- Drive design solutions & reuse within the assigned project.
Competencies:
- Support Mechatronics Discipline QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control): Identify discipline issues in standard, method, tools, test means for ensuring rapid resolution of technical issues and continuous improvement in design execution
- Responsible for Project Mechatronics QRQC, ensuring management of the correction of major technical issues with the support of the entity Mechatronics engineering manager and the relevant Mechatronics Experts.
- Support Mechatronics Competency Development of the Mechatronics design team within the project.
Efficiency:
- Execute Discipline Efficiency Plan within the assigned project.
Collaboration and Influence:
- Collaborate with Discipline Engineering Manager and Discipline Team Leader: Maintain regular communication and alignment with the Discipline Engineering Manager and Discipline Team Leader on budget performance, design execution, quality control, and efficiency initiatives.
- Collaborate with R&D Technical Project Leader: Work closely with the R&D Technical Project Leader to ensure seamless integration of the Mechatronics design within the overall project plan, timeline, and technical specifications.
- Lead and Mentor Discipline Designers: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to Discipline Designers working on the project, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
