Join our Mechanical Solutions team and take on a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for assembling, installing and testing mechanical equipment in support of offshore project delivery.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Assemble, install and test mechanical equipment and components in line with engineering drawings, ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard.
  • Operate hand and power tools confidently while maintaining quality, accuracy and efficiency throughout the build process.
  • Work closely with your Supervisor and colleagues to ensure project deadlines are achieved and customer requirements are met.
  • Identify and report any defects, damage or quality issues, ensuring they are communicated and resolved promptly.
  • Support and mentor apprentices, sharing knowledge and promoting good working practices across the team.
  • Help maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop by following 5S principles, risk assessments, permit to work systems and company HSEQ procedures.

What experience you'll bring:

  • A recognised engineering or trade apprenticeship, with good secondary education.
  • HNC (or equivalent) in Engineering would be advantageous.
  • Previous experience in a mechanical assembly, manufacturing or workshop environment.
  • The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical manuals and assembly documentation.
  • Experience assembling mechanical equipment and working with limits and fits on machined components.
  • Confidence using hand tools, power tools and heavy workshop equipment, along with measuring instruments such as micrometers, vernier gauges and dial indicators.
  • Experience using manual and hydraulic bolt torquing equipment is desirable.
  • Knowledge of working with heavy machinery would be preferred.
