Primary Responsibilities 主要职责:
- Perform detailed design and specification of static equipment, including pressure vessels, storage tanks, columns, separators, drums, and heat exchangers, in accordance with project and industry standards.
- Act as Package Responsible Engineer (PRE) for assigned static equipment packages from FEED through detailed design, procurement, fabrication, and commissioning.
- Prepare and review equipment datasheets, material requisitions (MR), technical specifications, and inquiry documents.
- Conduct technical bid evaluations (TBE) and vendor document reviews to ensure compliance with project requirements and applicable codes.
- Review and approve vendor documents including GA drawings, fabrication drawings, welding procedures, calculations, and inspection test plans (ITP).
- Perform and/or review mechanical design calculations including pressure design, thickness calculations, nozzle reinforcement, flange ratings, and external load verification.
- Ensure compliance with international standards and regulations (e.g., ASME Section VIII, API 650, API 620, API 510, API 579, API 660, API 661, PED, ISO standards) and client specifications.
- Coordinate with process engineering to validate process data and ensure mechanical design meets process and operational requirements.
- Interface with piping and structural disciplines to ensure proper support design, nozzle loads compliance, and layout integration.
- Interface with the Client’s counterpart to support technical meetings, reviews, and timely resolution of clarifications related to static equipment scope, vendor documentation, and project deliverables.
- Participate in 3D model reviews to ensure clash-free installation and maintainability of static equipment.
- Support procurement activities by clarifying technical queries and assisting with vendor selection.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, including shop visits, inspections, and resolution of technical deviations, as per project request.
- Review and manage technical deviations and concession requests, ensuring alignment with project objectives and safety requirements.
- Provide site support during installation and commissioning, addressing technical queries and ensuring compliance with design intent, as per project.
- Ensure proper documentation and handover of equipment dossiers, including MDR (Manufacturing Data Record) and as-built documentation.
- Identify technical risks and propose mitigation measures to ensure smooth project execution.
Qualifications/ Requirements 任职要求:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
- Experience: 5–10 years of experience in mechanical design of static equipment within the offshore oil and gas industry.
- Strong knowledge of pressure vessel and tank design codes and standards (ASME VIII Div.1/2, API 650, API 620, API 660, API 661, etc.).
- Experience in vendor coordination, bid evaluation, and document review.
- Familiarity with fabrication processes including welding, NDT, PWHT, hydrotesting, and surface treatment.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering tools and software, such as:
- PV Elite, Compress, or equivalent pressure vessel design software
- AutoCAD
- 3D modeling platforms (AVEVA E3D, PDMS, or similar)
- Strong understanding of materials selection for pressure-containing equipment, including carbon steel, low alloy steel, stainless steel, and corrosion-resistant alloys.
- Good understanding of mechanical integrity and inspection principles.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willingness to travel to vendor shops, fabrication yards, and offshore/onshore sites as required.

Skills Required
