In this role, you will be part of the mechanical engineering team responsible for leading projects end-to-end, including mechanical design, drafting, design verification testing, collaboration with internal departments, external suppliers, and supporting development and production phases.
Responsibilities- Mechanical design of airborne and ground assemblies, including preparation of manufacturing and assembly drawings
- Leading mechanical projects from requirements definition through customer delivery
- Managing and supporting development and production through subcontractors
- Working closely with system engineers, engineering, integration teams, suppliers, and subcontractors
- Writing design reviews, assembly instructions, and supporting design verification / feasibility tests
- Solving engineering challenges under tight schedules and technological constraints
- B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design (must)
- At least 3 years of experience developing multi-disciplinary products
- Full and proven proficiency in SolidWorks (must)
- Strong hands-on capabilities (must)
- Experience designing products intended for serial / mass production
- Experience with a variety of manufacturing technologies:
- 3D printing, CNC machining, plastic and metallic materials
- Strong teamwork skills, high interpersonal communication, organizational abilities, self-learning skills, and the ability to work under pressure
