Main responsibilities:
- Lead the design and development of mechanical components, systems, and industrial equipment using advanced 2D/3D engineering tools.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including engineering calculations, specifications, and datasheets aligned with project requirements.
- Define technical solutions, materials, and configurations in compliance with customer needs and applicable standards (ASME BPVC Sections I, II, VIII; ASME B31.3, NR12, NR13 and ABNT).
- Review vendor drawings, technical documentation, and specifications to ensure quality, compliance, and alignment with project requirements.
- Support procurement activities by performing technical evaluations, interacting with suppliers, and clarifying engineering requirements.
- Oversee fabrication processes and perform shop inspections, especially for pressure vessels and related equipment.
- Participate in technical reviews and cross-functional meetings to ensure proper project execution and alignment between teams.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and standardization initiatives within the engineering area.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Advanced English (written and spoken).
- Strong experience with CAD tools (2D/3D).
- Proven experience with static and rotating equipment (vessels, tanks, agitators, pumps, expansion joints, compensators and piping systems).
- Solid knowledge of engineering design, fabrication processes, and applicable technical standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
