Ensure the efficient coordination and execution of all mechanical maintenance activities within designated areas of the plant.
Responsible for the execution of maintenance work carried out on mechanical equipment in the plant, with proper feedback to the Sectional Engineer.
Develop and follow working methods within the assigned field, define procedures and ensure that they are implemented.
Ensure proper planning of work and resources, with methods and execution of tasks as assigned in the CMMS or by the Mechanical Maintenance Manager, and close out the same in SAP.
Supervise the missions and objectives of the team assigned, conduct performance reviews, ensure the quality of work carried out on site and motivate personnel.
Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulations by subordinates in work areas.
Review weekly, monthly and shutdown maintenance tasks with Planners according to production needs.
Monitor and review/prepare spare parts lists with the Planner.
Ensure the availability and proper management of tools required for the daily execution of tasks, in accordance with departmental tool procedures.
Participate in critical failure root cause analysis within the plant.
Follow company policies in day-to-day work.
Attend departmental meetings regularly, implement management policies with subordinates and communicate results to the Mechanical Manager.
Keep informed of general plant practices to ensure effective participation in on-call duties.
Ensure the documentation and filing of all permits, assessments and audit-related files for tracking and performance indicators.

Demonstrated accuracy in troubleshooting and correcting hydraulic system faults.
Excellent ability to interpret engineering drawings.
