Key Responsibilities
- Design structural frames, enclosures, weldments, sheet metal assemblies, and equipment layouts
- Develop mechanical designs that support fit, function, serviceability, installation, and transportation
- Support integration of cooling equipment, piping, mechanical components, and electrical systems
- Create fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, bills of material, and engineering documentation
- Perform component sizing, tolerance analysis, and basic engineering calculations
- Support design reviews, prototype builds, testing, and troubleshooting
- Apply Design for Manufacturing principles to improve quality and production efficiency
- Work with manufacturing teams to resolve fit-up, tolerance, and assembly issues
- Support engineering changes and continuous product improvement

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of mechanical design experience
- Experience designing fabricated structures, mechanical assemblies, or industrial equipment
- Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD software
- Experience creating manufacturing drawings and engineering documentation
- Experience with modular infrastructure, industrial skids, power systems, HVAC, or equipment enclosures
- Experience with weldments, sheet metal, piping, thermal systems, FEA, or CFD
- Background in fabrication, custom manufacturing, or New Product Introduction
