Job Description:
Parsons is looking for Mechanical Engineer - QC to join our Facility Management team on the Qiddiya program!
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality control of mechanical systems and equipment within the project scope. You will oversee inspections, testing, and compliance with engineering standards and specifications to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform quality control inspections and testing of mechanical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
Monitor construction and installation activities to ensure adherence to approved designs and quality standards.
Identify and report non-conformances, recommending corrective actions as needed.
Collaborate with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare detailed quality control reports and documentation for management review.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all phases of the project.
Provide technical guidance and support to the project team as required.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or a related field).
Typically, 8+ years of related work experience in mechanical engineering, particularly within facility departments.
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, quality control processes, and engineering standards.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiarity with industry codes and standards (e.g., ASME, ISO, etc.) is preferred.

Must be fully familiar with PTW, LOTO, CAFM, and site safety procedures.
Must understand applicable codes and standards for the discipline.
Must have working knowledge of FLS and HVAC mechanical systems.
