Estimated annual base pay: $77,000 (Minimum) - $100,000 (Midpoint) - $123,000 (Maximum)

Summary:
This Mechanical Integrated Support Team (IST) Engineer will be in Rockford for the Air Valve New Product Development (NPI) and Production team developing and manufacturing high and low temperature air control valves for aircraft and aerospace applications. These valves control air flow on-engine and are often hydraulically or electrically controlled.
Key Responsibilities:
Hands-on engineering support or ownership of investigations, testing, Root Cause/Corrective Action (RCCA)
Continuous improvement of product performance and production yield
Disposition of non-conforming hardware in production.
Works assigned tasks to meet schedule and may coordinate details with other departments.
Recognizes problems that are beyond current capabilities and learns from experts in the area.
May implement process improvements on a project level.
Performs work using conventional engineering practices.
Supports prototype builds and laboratory testing of mechanical, hydraulic, and electro-mechanical systems with some supervision.
Writes and performs component tests with some supervision.
