Position Summary
Responsible for Mechanical assembly, integration, and support of automation machines, ensuring alignment with design and functional requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret 2D/3D mechanical drawings and assembly layouts
- Perform mechanical assembly of automation machines, jigs, and fixtures
- Work on pneumatic systems (cylinders, valves, FRL units, tubing)
- Ensure proper alignment, fitment, and tolerance control
- Support machine build, testing, and debugging
- Coordinate with electrical and design teams for smooth integration
- Maintain quality, safety, and 5S standards on shop floor
- Identify issues and suggest improvements in assembly process
Skills & Requirements
- Strong understanding of mechanical drawings and GD&T basics
- Hands-on with assembly tools and techniques
- Knowledge of pneumatics and basic automation mechanisms
- Ability to work with jigs, fixtures, and precision assemblies
- Basic understanding of automation systems and workflows
- Good troubleshooting and analytical skills
Qualification & Experience
- Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering /Product design
- 2–3 years of experience in automation / machine assembly environment
