ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities.
This position is to provide Configuration Management and Data Management (CMADS) support for assigned development and mature aerospace programs, working closely with other team members (US, Canada, UK, Puerto Rico) to ensure compliance with established practices and program requirements.
The Analyst will be responsible for processing Engineering Change notices (ECN) in a timely fashion within Teamcenter, release and status accounting functions of documentation, and for maintaining release and configuration status information in the database system.
The Analyst will help achieve Aerospace cycle time targets.
In conjunction with the assigned program CM Analyst will perform the following:
Ensure that program requirements are met including customer approval requests for changes in the system.
Support data coordination activities including submitting and tracking ECNs, and other customer deliverables.
Attend specific program related meetings, including informal and formal, internal, and external, reviews and audits
Perform data mining for Engineering analysis. Prepare supplier change notifications for facilitating customer approval requests and perform data submittals through defined portals and maintaining the record of submittals and related correspondences in Teamcenter.
Be responsible for the quality and consistency of the data entered in the PDM/ERP systems as defined by globally located Engineering teams.
Be instrumental in ensuring that the common process is followed properly and monitoring of the successful completion of the workflow.
Managing Product / Material data and Bill of Materials in the Teamcenter and SAP.
Document editing/formatting and publishing document to perform release activities in Teamcenter, per standard templates.
Requirements
You Must Have: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
1 to 3 years of Configuration management experience
