JOB Description
Responsibilities
- Deliver Global Master Data Management, Data Governance and data quality Capabilities within CDO.
- Manage stakeholders (VP and global heads), conduct workshops and design the strategy, understand the existing process and create the target process (TOM)
- Partner with other organizations on road-mapping next generation master data management capability.
- Create the vision and roadmap for the Master data domains
- Create Problem Statements, Business Case, User Stories, Acceptance criteria.
- Define and document the requirements (BRD, Functional Spec, Personas, Journeys).
- Write and execute Business Test cases, and execute test cases on Master Data Domains.
- Enable proactive solutions to drive business profitability through data and process improvements
- Understand “best practices” and keep pace with competition and peer companies
- Collaborate with Business Capabilities and other IT Services Delivery Teams to ensure high performance of the global application portfolio.
- Demonstrate Exceptional Presentation skills at all levels to show the strategy, TOM in the right way to the relevant audience
- Should have experience of working on Hierarchies (Customer, Product, Material, Supplier), data unification and standardization.
Skills & Knowledge
- 10-15 years of Professional experience with 10+ years of equivalent experience in information technology leading, global, remote and virtual Master Data Management work.
- 5+ years of experience in defining and writing requirements related to Master Data/MDM.
- Should have experience in writing and executing Business test cases on MDM.
- 2+ years of experience with Agile software development. Exposure to JIRA is an added advantage.
- Should have played global leader role while designing master data management, data quality programs for the organization.
- Should be excellent team player and have worked across domains – Customer, Product/WholeGood, Vendor/Supplier, Finance, Material/Items, PIM etc.
- Demonstrable experience in understanding MDM Workflows, Data Models, defining and streamlining MDM Processes from scratch and enhancing existing MDM solution for large-scale organizations.
- Experience in driving large-scale transformation management/project management/program management as Subject Matter Expert in MDM, Data Quality.
- Exposure to Data Governance best practices.
- Experience working in Automotive and/or manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Experience with hybrid (cloud/on premises) integration architecture patterns is highly desired.
- Experience in working with Cloud platforms such as Azure or Snowflake.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics.
