Scope: 2 students completing 30 credits (20 weeks) each.
Background
Axis Communications has a growing number of products which includes microphones for both communication and analytical purposes. Multiple parameters set the performance of the solution and includes a vast number of design decisions. We are now looking for setting up a design model that could be used for developing our future products in a more efficient and reliable way.
Goal
- Investigate different types of acoustic modelling methods for microphone solutions.
- Designing and prototype a solution according to a chosen model.
- Verify the model by acoustical measurements.
- Evaluate the prototype from a final product perspective for both indoor and outdoor applications.
Who are you?
For this Thesis proposal we target students with a strong interest in electronic design for Audio implementations. Most likely you are studying a Master Program in Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics or Acoustics.
