Quality Engineering ERP Test Manager

Position Description:

As a Quality Engineering ERP Test Manager in Managed Application Services (MAS) at RSM, you will be a key member of our team and will be exposed to several aspects of our quality assurance practices including:

• Leading quality assurance projects associated with ERP implementations
• Developing and implementing test strategies
• Defect management
• Continuous improvement of testing processes
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams
• This role requires excellent testing skills, leadership abilities, and communication skills.
• You must be client-focused and team-oriented.
• In this role, you will be a valued member of our team, maintaining ongoing relationships with key team members and stakeholders, and help ensure successful projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing quality assurance projects guiding teams of quality assurance engineers and testers to ensure comprehensive test coverage and high performance of our clients’ software products.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining robust test strategies and plans that align with project goals and timelines.
• Establishing and maintaining defect tracking and management processes to ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of software issues.
• Contributing to  continuous improvement initiatives within the quality engineering team to optimize processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including software development, product management, and operations.
• Developing and maintaining quality metrics and reports to effectively communicate test progress, results, and quality status to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality assurance and test management, with at least 2 years with project management experience.
• Experience in testing ERP software.
• Functional knowledge of ERP software including experience of working on industry business process of Order to Cash, Lead to Cash, Procure to Pay, and Record to Report.

• In-depth knowledge of test management tools (Jira, Azure Dev Ops - ADO, etc)

• In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Proven ability to project manage a team of quality engineers, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of test automation (Leapwork, Work Soft, Tosca, Selenium)
• Knowledge of performance automation (Load Runner, JMeter, NeoLoad)
