The Opportunity

DAT is looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to join our Digital Marketing team in our Beaverton, OR office.

We’re looking for a results-driven communications professional and team player who can confidently partner with key internal and external stakeholders to lead DAT’s social media program from strategy through to execution, measurement and reporting.

You’ll bring all your experience growing a dynamic social presence to a next-generation SaaS technology company that has been at the leading edge of innovation in transportation supply chain logistics for 45 years.

Candidate Profile

  • Seasoned marketer with expertise and proven track record in building and driving successful and innovative social media programs. 
  • A natural communicator with a passion for building and nurturing online communities.
  • An expert in constantly staying on top of social platform updates, emerging trends, and everything social media, utilizing that knowledge to keep a competitive edge.
  • Team player and leader, with proven success in developing, implementing, measuring and reporting social media marketing strategies and plans.
  • Strong collaborator with experience working across multiple teams to drive and support social media initiatives and campaigns, including Paid Media, Demand Gen, Influencer Marketing, PR/Communications, Creative Services, Customer Service, and other teams.  

What You’ll Do

  • Develop a social media strategy for DAT, taking our social media presence to the next level.
  • Use social media channels to drive interest, engagement and revenue for DAT’s industry-leading products and services.
  • Lead end-to-end community engagement on existing social channels - LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube - and identify new channels for DAT to have a presence.
  • Support key business releases and initiatives via social media, in addition to building and executing standalone social media campaigns.
  • Build and nurture meaningful relationships with social communities, and DAT’s portfolio of social influencers, to ultimately acquire, retain and convert customer leads, while positioning DAT as a thought leader across social key partners and customers. 
  • Manage social media performance and budget metrics, reporting out regularly to the business.

The Skills You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or equivalent field.
  • 3+ years working in social media, preferably at medium to large-sized companies.
  • Proven success building and executing social media campaigns that have generated measurable results.
  • Able to strategically advocate for social media internally, tying social media to the business and marketing strategies, and providing expert social media guidance to other campaign owners.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and social marketing skills.
  • Able to continuously research and drive innovation, staying up to date with best practices for all social media channels, algorithm updates, ways to leverage AI, etc. 
  • Experience with social media management tools and features, such as Sprout Social, HootSuite, Canva, social listening and sentiment analysis, etc.
  • Data-driven, with the ability to define and measure KPIs.
  • Experience in crisis communications.
  • Experience with virtual and in-person events
  • Strong project management, time management and prioritization skills.

For Colorado-based candidates, in compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the minimum salary for this role is $90,000 + benefits. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
