THE ROLE You are the client's Customer Journey Analytics expert. You sit between their data analytics team and their web and app engineering teams, turning analytics requirements into technical specifications, then validating that what shipped matches what you specified. You own the solution design reference and the data views. This role also carries Adobe Target. The client runs about one test per quarter, so Target is a small part of the job, but you need real competence in it because nobody else on the pod has it. WHAT YOU WILL DO • Work with the client's data analytics team to define analytics requirements and write technical specifications for their web and app engineering teams. • Own the solution design reference and supporting documentation as a standing deliverable. • Build and modify CJA connections and data views. The current estate is around 13. • Design new data views for email and push performance reporting. • Onboard additional data sources into CJA, including digital experience monitoring data. • Advise analytics and business teams on which segments, events and variables to use. • Define the weekly reconciliation of CJA against back end order data, set the anomaly thresholds, and hand the running of it to the QA engineer. • Own Adobe Target test setup, audiences, splits and A4T reporting. • Surface new platform features to the client's analytics and CRM teams.
