The Role
Company:Marsh Corporate

Description:

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Marketing & Communications team at Marsh. This role can be based in Bethesda, Broomfield, or New York City and offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office.

As a Marketing Specialist, you will work closely with our global marketing team to execute campaigns and create content that reaches insurance brokers and agents — supporting key product lines across liability, property, cyber, and wholesale. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on crafting compelling campaigns, is fluent in social media, and has a solid foundation in digital marketing.  If you’re looking to grow your career within a dynamic, fast-moving specialty insurance company, we’d love to hear from you!

We will count on you to:

  • Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns targeting brokers and insurance agents
  • Write and schedule social media content across LinkedIn and other platforms, maintaining Victor’s voice and brand standards
  • Assist in building broker engagement campaigns, including drip sequences, product launches, and seasonal promotions
  • Create and edit marketing materials such as social cards, one-pagers, and email templates
  • Coordinate campaign calendars and track deadlines across multiple workstreams
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics and report trends, insights, and opportunities for optimization
  • Create and update website content while proactively suggesting improvements to the user experience
  • Bring fresh, innovative ideas to the table that keep the organization’s marketing strategies exciting and engaging
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with underwriting, sales, and product teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with business priorities

What you need to have:

  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, including internships or related roles
  • Strong writing and verbal communication skills, with a natural instinct for clear, punchy, audience-aware messaging
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects  simultaneously without losing sight of the details
  • A curious, collaborative mindset — you ask good questions and aren’t afraid to share ideas and voice your opinion
  • A self-starter who works independently, takes ownership, and follows through
  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

What makes you stand out?

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Experience in insurance or financial services is a plus – but we’ll teach you what you need to know
  • Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, or similar tools
  • Comfort with social media management and content creation, particularly on LinkedIn
  • Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite

Why join our team:

  • We help you be your best through professional development opportunities, interesting work and supportive leaders.
  • We foster a vibrant and inclusive culture where you can work with talented colleagues to create new solutions and have an impact on colleagues, clients, and communities.
  • Our scale enables us to provide a range of career opportunities, as well as benefits and rewards to enhance your well-being.
