Job Title: Marketing Specialist, Pacific

Reports to: Marketing Director, Pacific

Region & Area: APAC - Pacific

Job Purpose

The Market Marketing Specialist plays a critical role in driving end-to-end marketing strategy and execution at the market level — from awareness and demand generation to customer engagement and retention. This role leads the planning and delivery of integrated campaigns by industry that align with global and market strategies while meeting local market priorities.

You will act as the strategic connector between regional marketing, sales, and global marketing functions to build brand awareness, attract new customers, and deepen relationships with existing ones. You’ll manage a blend of digital, communications, and event-based programs to accelerate growth, strengthen customer advocacy, and deliver measurable business outcomes.

Principal Accountabilities

Marketing Strategy & Planning

  • Develop and execute the local marketing strategy aligned with regional and global priorities, integrating awareness, demand generation, and customer engagement objectives.

  • Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer insights to shape market-specific plans that drive pipeline growth and brand presence.

  • Collaborate with global and regional marketing teams to deploy campaigns, messaging, and content for relevance and impact for Pacific.

Demand Generation & New Logo Acquisition

  • Build and execute integrated campaigns targeting new accounts and prioritized industries for Pacific, using digital channels, content syndication, paid and organic media, email, and webinars.

  • Develop and maintain segmented contact databases to ensure precise targeting and personalization.

  • Partner with sales and lead development teams to ensure timely lead follow-up and campaign optimization to maximize ROI.

  • Manage local SEO/SEM and website localization in collaboration with the global web team.

Market Awareness & Communications

  • Lead the execution of local brand awareness and communications programs in alignment with global brand, PR, and analyst relations strategies.

  • Drive thought leadership initiatives and amplify global content at the local level to strengthen share of voice and perception in target industries.

  • Develop and oversee local social media and influencer strategies, ensuring brand consistency and governance.

  • Measure awareness performance (e.g., share of voice, reach, engagement) and optimize based on insights.

Customer Engagement & Retention

  • Design and implement customer engagement programs to drive upsell, cross-sell, and loyalty across key accounts.

  • Lead personalized Account-Based Marketing (ABM) initiatives targeting C-level executives in strategic accounts.

  • Develop and manage referral and advocacy programs to strengthen brand trust and customer influence.

  • Establish and nurture customer user communities to encourage collaboration and knowledge-sharing.

  • Manage strategic customer communications to ensure consistent messaging and reinforce AVEVA’s value proposition.

Events & Local Activation

  • Plan, organize, and promote events — including customer roundtables, webinars, tradeshows, and industry conferences — aligned to local marketing priorities.

  • Support digital and field activation to enhance awareness, demand, and customer engagement.

Measurement & Optimization

  • Track and report on marketing performance across awareness, demand, and engagement metrics.

  • Evaluate ROI and continually refine campaigns for improved efficiency and impact.

  • Incorporate market intelligence and performance insights into planning and reporting.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Experience in B2B marketing, with proven expertise across demand generation, communications, and customer marketing.

  • Understanding of digital marketing channels, analytics, and campaign optimization.

  • Hands-on experience with PR, social media, and thought leadership programs.

  • Ability to execute ABM and customer engagement initiatives.

  • Strategic thinking and project management skills; able to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

  • Strong analytical mindset and results orientation.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences.

  • Collaborative and adaptable, thriving in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.

  • Experience working with complex stakeholder groups, including sales, executives, and partners.
