Job Summary
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining marketing materials, developing and executing marketing campaigns including email, print, and social media campaigns, to promote Clear Spring Life and Annuity Company within our brand guidelines.
Responsibilities
This position, within Clear Spring Life Marketing (“CSL Marketing”), will report to the Director of Sales Support and Solutions. This position will support the promotion, sale and support of Clear Spring Life annuity products and will be responsible for various administrative, marketing and communication assignments. A sample of position accountabilities include:
- Research & Support - Work cross-functionally to coordinate response to a wide range of IMO requests through research and collaborative problem solving
- Create and design new and maintain existing marketing materials including brochures, sales guides, and training materials
- Contribute to and collaborate with the team to develop marketing ideas and campaigns including webinar decks, email blasts, and mailers
- Establish and grow relationships within the IMO channel through clear and concise communication
- Collaborate to create, plan, and execute agent experiences and events and attend events as needed
- Fulfill requests for custom agent advertisements
- Update website with current rates, sales materials, forms, and news
- Work cross-functionally with internal departments on projects that affect Marketing and Sales
- Work with vendors to maintain standards and meet deadlines
- Maintain and update records to produce detailed reporting for Marketing and Sales KPIs.
- Fulfill requests for materials needed for the sales process including Marketing Collateral, Annuity Illustrations, and Sales kits
Marketing role and responsibilities anticipated to grow with experience.
Qualifications: Experience
- Degree in marketing, advertising, or business management or equivalent marketing experience preferred.
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
- Previous experience operating within brand guidelines
- Excellent oral, written, listening, and presentation skills and ability to clearly articulate complex information to others.
- Salesforce experience preferred
- Spreadsheet proficient (Microsoft Excel functions/formulas)
- Limited travel ( 5%) may be required
- 1+ years’ experience servicing insurance or annuity products or related role.
