The opportunity
Harvard Business Publishing’s Corporate Learning division targets enterprises that recognize leadership development as a source of competitive advantage. The Corporate Learning (CL) team’s expertise is in creating rich, interactive learning experiences that develop leaders who shape their organizations’ futures by making smart decisions at critical moments.
The Marketing Specialist will provide essential support by managing internal communications, coordinating marketing materials, overseeing client stories, maintaining internal platforms, and assisting with product launches and website updates.
What you’ll do:
- Product Marketing Strategy Execution: Provide logistical support during go-to-market campaigns, ensuring smooth execution across channels.
- Product Performance Monitoring: Help track and analyze product marketing performance metrics, contributing to go-to-market and product improvement efforts.
- Sales Enablement Materials: Support the development of product collateral, including product one-pagers, battle cards, and presentations to equip the sales team with key messaging and competitive differentiation.
- Internal Marketing Communications: Coordinate internal marketing communications to key stakeholders, ensuring all teams are informed of upcoming campaigns, product launches, and major initiatives.
- External Marketing Communications: Client newsletter support, coordination and execution.
- Marketing Calendar Management: Maintain and update the marketing calendar, tracking key events, campaigns, and deadlines to ensure alignment across the team.
- Creative Liaison: Act as the liaison between the marketing team and the creative/design team to ensure timely development and delivery of marketing materials.
- Internal Platform Oversight: Take ownership of the marketing team’s internal pages on the company intranet, ensuring timely updates, relevant content, and seamless communication across departments.
- Client Advisory Group Coordination: Support the coordination of our client advisory group meetings, including and compiling feedback for the marketing and leadership teams.
- Client Stories Administration: Oversee the administration and project management of client stories, both video and written, ensuring that stories are captured, edited, and published in a timely manner. Work with team members to ensure stories are posted on relevant social channels.
- Corporate Website Updates: Assist in updating the corporate website, ensuring content is current, relevant, and optimized for marketing campaigns.
- Support Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various departments to align marketing efforts with organizational goals and ensure smooth project execution across teams.
What you’ll bring:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing coordination with strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with CRMs, marketing automation and account-based marketing tools.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) and maintaining intranet or website pages. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with project management tools is a plus.

$55,000 - $65,000
Above is the annualized pay range for this position. In addition, this position includes the opportunity to earn our annual Performance Based Variable Pay Program. Actual salary will be set based upon a range of factors, including external benchmark market data, individual knowledge, skills, experience, location and internal equity.
