Job Description
Responsibilities:
1) Coordinate direct mail campaigns including list management, print inventory, and reporting.
2) Manage ComEducation mailbox and schedule presentations and community table events throughout service territory.
3) Manage premium inventory and fulfill requests from internal departments.
4) Execute marketing initiatives as outlined in plan for Vegetation Management program, including social media posts and collateral development.
5) Responsible for conducting industry benchmarking and reporting results.
6) Support with clerical functions such as preparing materials and presentations, updating web content, and maintaining materials on various SharePoint sites and in file locations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or Business.
Experience: 2-4 years relevant experience
§ Strong writing and communication skills
§ Excellent project management and organizational skills; detail-oriented
§ Experience working with Microsoft Office including intermediate proficiency with Excel - have advanced excel skills. Not lookups or pivot tables, but more with formulas (i.e. be able to reference cells from different sheets in the same excel file)
Nice to have is Microsoft Smartsheets - the company is moving to that software, so all employees will eventually learn it
§ Ability to work with a diverse group of people across several departments
§ Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, display sound judgment, and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
§ Ability to develop a sense of urgency and respond appropriately
§ Experience working in a collaborative team environment on large initiatives
§ Must be a self-starter with a “can do” attitude
§ Familiarity working with marketing agencies, print production and managing content design is required.
§ An understanding of smart grid is desirable.
