We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate Marketing Specialist II to help bring our brand strategies to life for Manheim and NextGear Capital. This role will support the Senior Brand Manager in the development and execution of strategic brand marketing efforts, helping to create compelling content and ensuring our brands are represented consistently across all of our Inventory team's marketing efforts. You will aid in the execution of dynamic brand campaigns, in the development and execution of content calendars and will help collaborate with our Field Marketing partners to ensure our brands continue to come to life at all of our auction locations and partner auctions.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and collaborative partner, able to communicate clearly and confidently and work well across multiple stakeholders, along with managing multiple projects with competing priorities and timelines. You will have experience in helping to craft compelling content aligned to strategic initiatives and messaging guidelines. And importantly, you will be a passionate brand steward for both external clients and internal team members.
What You'll Do
Brand Strategy & Positioning
  • Support the development, distribution and maintenance of easy-to-use brand guidelines that aid the organization in ensuring our brands are accurately represented and messaging is delivered consistently across all teams within the organization.
  • Gather and distill the latest key research and competitive intelligence findings, keeping the brand team up to date on the latest insights that can impact existing campaigns and influence content development.
  • Maintain and manage a comprehensive content calendar aligned to ongoing brand campaigns and content development initiatives.

Content & Campaign Development and Execution
  • Support the development and execution of dynamic and engaging brand content aligned to brand messaging strategy, target audiences and optimized by channel (digital, social, and traditional platforms).
  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal team members to produce high-impact content that drives brand consideration and brand loyalty - holding all partners accountable to established timelines.
  • Partner with digital marketing and activation partners in the execution of strategic channel plans that showcase the right content on the right channel to the right audiences at the right time.
  • Oversee the regular maintenance of key enablement materials, ensuring the brand message is up to date and delivering against the brand strategy.

Cross-Functional Brand Leadership
  • Serve as the brand steward for your brands, fostering a culture of brand advocacy with internal teams across the organization and with external clients.
  • Support brand-related requests from across the organization including, Field Marketing, Key Account Marketing, Product Marketing, and Executive leadership.
  • Serve as a direct brand representative to our marketing partners in the field, ideating on creative content, supporting brand needs and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.

Budget & Project Management
  • Continuously track any budget spends and submit invoices for brand work on-time.
  • Leverage project management platforms to manage multiple competing projects simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality and creativity.
  • Keep Sr. Brand Manager fully updated and aligned on all major projects.

Performance & Optimization
  • Support the Sr. Brand Manager in continuously monitoring brand KPIs for campaigns and content.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to leverage existing and/or create new content to drive engagement.

Who You Are
Minimum:
  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline and 2 years' experience in marketing. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and up to 2 years' experience or 6 years' experience in a related field.
  • Ability to showcase a high-energy and motivating demeanor to drive enthusiasm and excitement for our brands across internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proven storytelling and content creation skills with a strong creative sensibility.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills - both spoken and written - to successfully work with multiple teams and departments across the business.
  • Polished presentation skills, with ability to influence partners and engage with various levels within the organization.
  • Highly detail-oriented with outstanding follow-through, time management, organizational and project management skills focused on delivering business results aligned to strategic objectives.
  • Proactively collaborates with intent, asks questions, makes suggestions, volunteers assistance, offers resources and removes obstacles to continually learn and grow and help the team achieve goals.
  • Client-first mindset - focused on delivering solutions that drive value and solve pain points.
  • Analytical mindset to review, analyze and act on data and information to determine solutions.
  • Ability to respond to day-to-day operational priorities while still making progress on core project work that drives revenue and market/customer needs.

  • Degree in marketing, communications, or related field
  • Manheim field marketing experience, preferred

USD 59,600.00 - 89,400.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $59,600.00 - $89,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Benefits:
The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, and parental leave.
