The PositionMain Responsibilities:
Manages market research needs for products or therapeutic areas within the organization.
Conducts and manages primary and secondary market research projects, including labeling and advertising.
Provides marketing insight and direction to optimize strategic products
Analyzes data and makes strategic recommendations.
Contributes to annual business plan and maximizes market potential. Interprets and translates scientific clinical data into commercial implications.
Directs the development of company marketing plan and supporting sales activities for specific products or product lines including assessment of potential markets.
Establishes pricing strategies, develops budgets and monitors expenditures.
May develop short and long-range strategies for product expansion. Interfaces with Product Development, Production and Manufacturing to develop new products or enhance existing products or product lines.
May act as a technical advisor for specific products.
Oversees market analysis, monitors competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Defines vision, strategies, and tactics.
Selects, develops and evaluates employees to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
